Over 120 laboratories at our Ohio site provide a full range of chemistry and biology services required to move from discovery to IND. With the R&D capacity of a mid-sized pharmaceutical company, Ricerca serves many of the leading US biotechnology companies.

Recently Ricerca has added niche commercial API manufacture. Its chemistry services cover a wide range of scale (milligrams to tons) supported by one of the industry’s most complete analytical capabilities. Our Analytical group does methods development through final drug product release testing followed by stability testing which are all part of our support of our clients CMC packages. Salt screens and polymorph studies are also provided to help client with their preformulation needs. Ricerca has prepared CMC packages and accompanied clients to their pre-IND meeting with the agency. Our experienced regulatory group can assist in preparing the preclinical plan leading up to the IND.

Ricerca also offers comprehensive non-human biology support including ADMET, bioanalytical services and GLP toxicology. Our metabolism and radiolabel synthesis (including GMP) capabilities are beneficial both pre and post-IND.

Ricerca is compliant with FDA regulations including GLP and cGMP. It also meets ALAAC and IACUC requirements.
