Because Ricerca combines the medicinal chemistry R&D capabilities of a mid-sized pharma with the biological services of a full-service CRO, it’s the preferred provider for virtual, small, and medium-sized biotech and pharmaceutical companies seeking a successful IND submission.

Ricerca’s discovery chemistry services include medicinal chemistry, including structural design and synthesis, bioavailability prediction and enhancement studies, and preformulation. Discovery biology services include both in vitro and in vivo efficacy models, and DMPK studies.

In the development stage, Ricerca chemists can provide active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) preparation as well as analysis, radiolabeled synthesis, and process chemistry and engineering of selected compounds. Ricerca’s biology services during development include ADMET, IND-enabling toxicology/PK studies, and clinical sample analysis. Regulatory support services include development of clinical strategy and protocols, and completion of the CMC document.

In late-phase and post-launch, Ricerca can provide custom manufacturing for APIs, formulations and peptides. Late-phase biology studies include 3-, 6- and 12-month toxicity and carcinogenicity studies, as well as assistance with medical communications after launch.
