Chairman's Message

I am proud of the growth and progress Ricerca has made since I took the helm in 2005. Our concept,  the balanced integration of preclinical CRO services, has been embraced by emerging biotechnology and specialty drug companies, as well as traditional pharmaceutical manufacturers. Ricerca is committed to being the easiest, fastest, most direct route to move a concept from intellectual property to an approvable FDA submission.

As a business, our focus is to balance the interests of the three major stakeholders – associates, clients and investors – in ways which work to everyone's mutual benefit and success. My vision for Ricerca is that it be a great place to work, a great place to have work done and a great place to invest.

Ricerca conducts annual employee surveys. Highlights based on responses from almost 800 associates include a passion for conducting good science, collaboration with our clients and an overwhelming respect for fellow Ricerca associates. Changes in management have improved access to resources and training, and our employees genuinely enjoy dealing with clients in a productive, collaborative environment.

For their part, clients enjoy that same partnership. We are fortunate to have almost half our staff at the Ph.D. level, with a significant percentage of the remainder holding advanced degrees. What they and our clients have in common is a love of the freedom to explore possibilities and the science that makes it all possible.

To balance the interests of investors, we are focused on creating a business enterprise that emphasizes quality and delivers accurate, reliable results to clients in a timely manner. By utilizing our experience and expertise in ways that provide clients with maximum benefit, we encourage their repeat patronage and good will in the marketplace. Our philosophy at Ricerca is good science is good business.

Moving forward, it is our goal to strengthen and improve our core processes and services where possible, and add additional services as you need them. We’re the most direct route to an IND now, but we are striving to be the only drug development partner you’ll ever need.
