Ricerca Announces the Sale of Bothell (West), Washington In Vivo Operation to Numira Biosciences
Today, Ricerca Biosciences and Numira Biosciences announced the sale of Ricerca’s Bothell (West), Washington in vivo operation to Numira. Ricerca’s Bothell (East) cellular and functional assay operation, Taipei, Taiwan in vivo, Concord, Ohio and Lyon, France facilities and employees remain unaffected.
Numira, a contract research organization (CRO) specializing in high-resolution imaging and analysis of small animal specimens, is committed to building on the strong foundation that Ricerca has established as a provider of in vivo efficacy and safety services.
“Ricerca’s Bothell (West) facility represented a good fit for the direction that we want to take Numira. The operations and scientific team attracted our attention and merge well with our current capabilities.” said Michael Beeuwsaert, President & CEO, Numira Biosciences.

With the agreement in place, Numira assumes responsibility of the site in Bothell (West), Washington and 21 employees who transitioned today into the Numira organization.
